Baker, Bowser, Leggett Tout Regional Economic Development (VIDEO)
The Committee for Montgomery hosted its annual legislative breakfast on Dec. 16 at the Bethesda North Marriott. The main event at this year’s breakfast was a conversation about regional economic development featuring the Executives of Montgomery and Prince George’s counties and the Mayor of Washington, D.C.

Also at this event, the Committee for Montgomery outlined its legislative priorities which include increasing voter turnout, education, economic development, and new transit systems such as the Corridor Cities Transitway as well as long term I-270 improvements. The Maryland General Assembly begins its 2016 session on Jan. 13th.
The Committee for Montgomery is a coalition of leaders representing a broad cross section of Montgomery County business, labor, education, civic and community based organizations. Its primary mission is to advocate in Annapolis on issues of importance to Montgomery County.
