Au revoir “Dance du Jour”

Sadly, MCM is saying goodbye to Ellen Engle and Dr. Marc Shapanek of Flying Feet Enterprises and the producers of one of MCM’s signature shows “Dance du Jour.”  They’ve been dancing and teaching in the Washington DC area since 1989. Ellen helped found her college dance team. Marc, meanwhile, learned to waltz from his mother while still in elementary school.

“We have taught on four continents and won championships from Virginia to Australia.”

For 16 years Ellen and Marc have shared their love for dance, love of Public Access Television, and love for teaching all in Montgomery County. “Dance du Jour” has entertained us with the Charleston, The Waltz, Swing, Jitterbug, The Tango, Salsa, and Baltimore’s very own “The Madison.”  So check out “Dance du Jour” On Demand or look for Ellen and Marc in the Spanish Ballroom at Glen Echo Park.
