More than 30 members of print and broadcast media organizations whose primary audiences are the various Asian communities that are a rapidly growing part of the Montgomery County on Dec. 10 attended the launch of the Montgomery County Council’s new initiative to improve the flow of information to those residents.

Among those who addressed the media members in Rockville were, from left, special guest Maryland State Senator Susan Lee, County Councilmember Sidney Katz and Crystal Park, who is the Council’s new Asian communications specialist.

They all enjoyed a lighter moment at the event, which Senator Lee called, “an historic step for local government communications.”
