Asbury Methodist Village Receives National Recognition for Its Trees (VIDEO & PHOTOS)

Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg has received national recognition for its trees by Morton Arboretum’s ArbNet Arboretum Accreditation Program.

“We are the first accredited arboretum in Maryland, especially for senior living communities and we’re really excited,” Rob Liebreich, executive director for Asbury said.

Accreditation from ArbNet is based on the number of species of trees, staff and volunteer support, tree science research, and public programming available.
