ArtStream Rehearsal (Video)

ArtStream OnStage presents a double bill of fun theater this weekend and next from Inclusive Theatre Companies, which stages productions showcasing the talents of adults with intellectual disabilities. First up, set sail aboard the SS Spirit with “All Hands on Deck: A Topsy Turvy Trip.” The crew has had it. They refuse to work, leaving Cruise Director Suzy Stalwart in a bind. Can the ship’s crew and her passengers make peace before the whole cruise goes out to sea? Next is “Diary, She Wrote: Mystery, Music and Mayhem on the Bayou.” A diary is missing, and it happens to contain all the townsfolk’s biggest secrets. This fun mystery plays out against the vibrant setting of New Orleans, complete with a six-foot alligator on the bayou. Take a look at this recent rehearsal video.

Performances are at the Rosborough Theatre at Asbury Methodist Village, 409 Russell Avenue in Gaithersburg.
