Apartment Fire Displaces Over a Dozen Residents

UPDATED

Montgomery County firefighters are trying to determine what ignited a fire at an apartment complex at 7919 Spiceberry Circle in Gaithersburg.

The fire occurred shortly around 1 a.m. on Oct. 8. and caused approximately $120,000 in damage.

Assistant Chief Scott Graham said there were no injuries but approximately 20 residents are now without a home.

Graham said the Red Cross is assisting residents who were displayed by the blaze.
