In this video clip, MTV Original VJ Mark Goodman explains why he doesn’t watch “American Idol” and “The Voice.”

Goodman was recently in Gaithersburg attending the Book Festival where he was promoting his new book, “VJ: The Unplugged Adventures of MTV’s First Wave,” along with former MTV VJ Nina Blackwood.
