Amber Alert Issued for Infant Girl (PHOTOS & VIDEO)
UPDATED, Jan. 27, 9:15 p.m. – Montgomery County Police report that the father who allegedly punched the mother of his 5-month-daughter and drove off with the infant in a rented car turned himself in to police in Prince George’s County about 8:30 p.m.
Police say the mother is being reunited with her daughter. No additional details were immediately available.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 5-month-old girl from Poolesville and they have issued an Amber Alert in the case.

Police said Drew Marie Denny was taken by her father from her mother’s home in the 19000 block of Hempstone Avenue in Poolesville. Drew is described as a black female, 2’05” tall and weighing 14 pounds. She has black eyes and short curly black hair.
The child’s father, Deare Denny, took Drew by force from the Poolesville residence, police said.
Deare Denny fled in a small, black SUV with New Jersey tags, D97DRW. Police said Deare Denny is 26 years old and is described as a black male, 5’10” tall, and weighing 200 pounds. He has brown eyes and dreadlocks. He also has multiple tattoos.
Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Drew Marie Denny or Deare Denny is asked to call 911. Callers may remain anonymous.
