AARP Smart Driver TEK Workshops Available in Montgomery County

Stay Safe on the Roads: Plan to Attend a Workshop on the Latest in Vehicle Technology

The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) has developed a new driver workshop with The Hartford Insurance Company to introduce drivers to new technology that is changing the driving experience. The class, AARP Smart Drive TEC, includes information about blind-spot detection systems, forward-collision warning systems, lane-departure warning systems, smart headlights and much more.

This workshop is especially important for anyone considering buying a new car, or those with a recently purchased or leased new car. The 90-minute workshop will be offered seven times in Montgomery County during the month of July.  The fee is $5 which is payable to AARP. All workshops have a limited number of seats.  Space is limited and registration is required. Register online, here or go to www.aarp.org/findaworkshop or call 1.877.805.4115.
