It’s already being called a classic.

With less than a minute to go in the game, the Good Counsel Falcons scored a touchdown and made the extra point to go up over the DeMatha Stags, 21-14, at Dancel Field on Oct. 3 in Olney.

The Falcons won this big game in front of a big crowd on homecoming weekend in the rain.

It was DeMatha who scored first, going up 6-0 in the first quarter. The Falcons came back to take the lead 14-6 at halftime. In the fourth quarter, DeMatha scored again and made a two point play tying it up 14-14. It looked like it was headed to overtime before the Falcons sneaked a play into the end zone.

According to Twitter reports, Penn State coach James Franklin was on the sidelines for all the action. Some fans reported he arrived at the game via helicopter.
