Taste of Wheaton Recap (New Video)

Taste of Wheaton 2012The Taste of Wheaton festival highlights the diverse restaurants in downtown Wheaton. The event will take place on June 9 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Wheaton triangle at the corner of Grandview Avenue and Reedie Drive, just one block north of the Wheaton Metro station. The festival includes food samples, wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, Wheaton Farmers’ Market, live music, children’s activities and Karaoke.

Enjoy food samples from downtown Wheaton restaurants. Prices range from $1 to $5 per “taste”. Participating restaurants include Los Cobanos Restaurant, Saigonese Vietnamese Restaurant, Ming Tree, Pollo Sabroso, Green Plate Catering, Ledo Pizza, Starbucks, The Limerick Pub, IHOP, Moby Dick Sushi, Marchone’s Italian Deli, Umberto’s, Dunkin” Donuts, Little Caesar’s Pizza.

Stage 1
Ted Garber (blues, rock)
The Natty Beaux (swing)
Diamond Alley (top 40)
Alma Tropicalia (Brazilian)

Stage 2
Live Band Karaoke featuring HariKaraoke
Wheaton Studio of Dance

Children’s activities include arts & crafts, rides, face-painting, balloon sculptures, and caricature drawings.
