Small Business Awards Luncheon Set for May 24

Local business owners are set to be honored for their innovation during the inaugural Montgomery County Small Business Awards Luncheon.

Out of 60 entries, eight winners will be revealed Friday during the awards luncheon in Bethesda.

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett (D) will join the keynote speaker Tammy Darvish who is the Executive Vice President of DARCARS to honor businesses owners for their contributions. Over 300 people are expected to attend.

The categories include: Bioscience Company of the Year, Information Technology Company of the Year, Montgomery County Innovation Network Company of the Year, Small Business Award, Small Business Award, Small Business Award, Start-up Business of the Year and Workforce Award.
