Montgomery County Council member George Leventhal remembers the origins of the “Purple Line Now!” organization and the leadership Harry Sanders provided. Leventhal spoke at the Harry Sanders memorial dedication ceremony on March 28.
Sanders, who passed away three years ago, is remembered for his advocacy work for the proposed 16-mile Purple Line.
