Brush Fire (Photos)

Montgomery County firefighters responded to a brush fire in the 16700 block of Riffle Ford Road at approximately 5 p.m. on March 10.

According to Assistant Fire Chief Scott Graham, 85 firefighters were called to the scene of a 15-acre brush fire. Graham posted two photos of the fire scene on his twitter account. He said the fire has been contained.

A local resident posted on our MyMCMedia Facebook page that smoke from the blaze could be seen from Great Seneca Highway.

No word at this hour on the cause of the blaze or if any structures were damaged.
