Meeting with the Ambassador of Philippines

I met with the Philippine Ambassador to Washington D.C. Jose Cuisia, Jr. at the recent North Bethesda Rotary Club meeting. The Ambassador spoke about the close ties between the United States and the Philippines. I asked the Ambassador if it was possible for the Victims Rights Foundation to use the Filipino Embassy for a fundraiser to help victims of crime. The ambassador expressed his concern about victims of crime in the Philippines and the United States.

A fun fact I learned:

Philippines is the fourth largest ship building country in the world.
