Suspects Wanted for Jimmy Choo Store Thefts (Photos)
Montgomery County police are asking for your help in identifying three suspects who allegedly stole from the Jimmy Choo store in Chevy Chase on January 9. The suspects were seen on camera in another department store, according to police who have released three photos of the suspects.
At approximately noon, units from the 2nd District responded to the Jimmy Choo store located at 5481 Wisconsin Avenue for a theft that had just occurred. According to police: store employees stated that three suspects, all black males, quickly entered the store and stole several handbags having a total value of over $10,000. The three suspects exited the store 10-15 seconds later and entered a red 4-door sedan that was waiting outside on Wisconsin Avenue, driven by a fourth suspect, and made their escape, police said.
The preliminary investigation reveals that three of the four suspects were seen on surveillance video at a nearby department store prior to the theft from Jimmy Choo.
