Flags Lowered in Honor of Senator Inouye

Pursuant to President Barack Obama’s proclamation to lower the United States Flag in honor of Senator Daniel K. Inouye, President pro tempore of the United States Senate, who died on Dec. 17, Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley has ordered the United States Flag and Maryland State Flag to be flown at half-staff immediately.

The flags are to remain lowered until sunset on the day of his interment.
