Forest Glen Annex Town Hall
The United States Army Garrison will hold a community town hall meeting on Thursday, Dec. 13 at the Forest Glen Annex, in Silver Spring. The meeting may be of interest to residents in neighborhoods in Silver Spring, Chevy Chase and Kensington. The Forest Glen Annex, formerly known as the Walter Reed Army Annex is now affiliated with Fort Detrick in Frederick, MD. The Annex will become a military Center of Excellence for Infectious Disease Research. The National Museum of Health and Medicine, which was located at the Walter Reed campus, has relocated to Forest Glen.
The meeting will be held at the Forest Glen Annex, building 172 (next to the gas station), in the Armed Forces Pest Management Board Conference Room. Community meetings are held to keep the public informed about the on-going actions on the Forest Glen installation.
