Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras at Strathmore
Enjoy the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras (MCYO) season opening concert at the Music Center at Strathmore on Sunday, December 9 at 3 and 7 p.m.
The MCYO Junior Orchestra featuring Chamber Strings, Young Artists and Symphony Orchestra will perform at 3 p.m. Music by Corelli, Brahms, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak and Offenbach.
Come early! Enjoy a pre-concert performance by the Harp Ensemble in Orchestra Lobby!
The MCYO Winter Concert with the Chamber Orchestra will perform at 7 p.m. Renowned NSO and BSO Concertmasters perform with today’s young musicians in Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante for Violin, Viola and Orchestra. National Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster Nurit Bar-Josef and Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster Jonathan Carney will perform with the MCYO.
Tickets are $15 and up and may be purchased online at the Strathmore website.
