“Every 15 Minutes”

As part of a national program called “Every 15 minutes” police simulated an alcohol related accident and arrest at Churchill High School. The program is intended to instill in teenagers the potentially dangerous consequences of drinking alcohol and texting while driving. As part of the program, Montgomery County Police and Montgomery County Fire & Rescue, with student participation, simulated a traffic collision and arrest on school grounds. As police and Fire & Rescue personnel treat injured participants, other student spectators experienced the sounds and sights of being involved in an alcohol-related and/or texting related collision.
