Flags Lowered After Libya Attack
President Barack Obama has ordered the United States Flag and all State flags flown at half-staff immediately.
This is in memory of John Christopher Stevens, United States Ambassador to Libya, and American personnel killed in the attack on the U.S. diplomatic facility in Benghazi, Libya.
The flags should remain at half staff until sunset on Sunday, September 16. This action is taken under the Protocol for the United States and Maryland State Flag.
