Nominate a Good Neighbor
Rockville residents with a family member, friend or neighbor
helping to enhance one of the city’s neighborhoods can honor them with a nomination
for the Good Neighbor Award.
The Good Neighbor Award recognizes the ongoing efforts of Rockville residents who
are making exceptional contributions to improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods.
The program is designed to honor those who make a difference in the community without
seeking or receiving recognition for their service.
Nominees are sought in two divisions: adult and youth.
* The nominee must be a resident of the City of Rockville
* The nominee must not be employed by the City of Rockville
* The nominee must have made a significant contribution to their community during
the current calendar year
The Good Neighbor Award is the City’s way of recognizing the residents who are committed
to preserving, maintaining and improving the quality of life in their neighborhoods
and our community.
This year, the awards ceremony will be held at a Mayor and Council Meeting in October.
The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, Sept. 26. To nominate a Good Neighbor,
go to www.rockvillemd.gov/government/citymanager/gnaward.htm.
