MCPS Summer School Programs in Full Swing; More Than 53,000 Students Participating

Summer school programs for additional Montgomery County Public Schools [MCPS] students began on Tuesday.

MCPS officials say overall, more than 53,000 students will be participating in various summer programs either in-person at a local school or on a virtual platform.

MCPS Communications Supervisor Gboyinde Onijala explains how the school system plans to address learning disruptions some students experienced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

MCPS Summer school programs will continue for the next four to six weeks according to education officials.
