New Shake Shacks to Open in Westfield Montgomery Mall, Kentlands

Shake Shack, the fast-casual burger restaurant chain with one current Montgomery County location, is planning to open in Bethesda and Gaithersburg.

The restaurant is coming to Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, Brand Communications Specialist Katie Scott confirmed to MyMCM in an email. It is slated to open in late 2021.

Shake Shack also plans to open at 195 Kentlands Blvd. in Gaithersburg in late 2022, Scott said. The restaurant is expected to occupy 3,190 square feet inside as well as 1,202 square feet of patio.

Currently, there is one Shake Shack in the county: in Cabin John Village at 7997 Tuckerman Lane in Potomac.
