Marlo Building Fire
Montgomery County firefighters are investigating the cause of a blaze at the Marlo building at 725 Rockville Pike.
When firefighters arrived shortly after 6:10 p.m. on July 25 there were flames shooting from the second floor roof, according to Assistant Fire Chief Scott Graham.
Approximately 85 firefighters responded to the blaze and two suffered heat-related injuries (not life threatening), Graham wrote on his Twitter account.
A portion of Rockville Pike was closed, north of Wooton Parkway in both directions, until about 8 p.m.
Graham has posted photos of the fire on his Twitter account.
