County Considers Mobile COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics for Senior Communities
Montgomery County health leaders are considering making some COVID-19 vaccination clinics mobile in an effort to accommodate senior citizen communities.
The county is currently in Phase 1A of vaccine distribution, and people who are 75-years-old and up will be included in Group 1B. Residents that are 65-years old and up are included in Phase 1C. County health officials say they plan on beginning vaccinating residents ages 65-years-old and up by February depending on the state’s allotment of vaccine doses.
During a virtual media briefing on Thursday, Montgomery County Office of Emergency Director Dr. Earl Stoddard detailed additional vaccination plans for local senior citizens.
