Holy Cross Doctor: ‘It’s a Huge Amount of Hope for Us’

Dr. Duane Stillions was one of dozens of health care workers at Holy Cross Health to receive the first part of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Stillions, who works in critical care, contracted the virus, had to be hospitalized but is back working. After receiving his shot Dec. 18, he declared, “It’s a huge amount of hope for us.” Of his fellow health care providers, Stillions said, “Everybody has put all of themselves into this.”
