Blog: Ingleside Named a ‘Great Place to Work’

Ingleside, a premier, charitable not-for-profit provider of comprehensive older adult opportunities in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, announces a consecutive year of being certified as a Great Place to Work.

The certification process considered more than 660 employee surveys from across the organization’s life plan communities and affiliates. The Great Place to Work Institute is an independent research and consulting firm, whose survey assessed more than 60 elements of Ingleside employees’ experience on the job. Ingleside scored highly on igniting employee’s pride in their work, creating a welcoming work environment and overall being a great place to work.

“We are honored to be certified as a Great Place to Work thanks to our dedicated staff who cited satisfaction about the way Ingleside contributes to the community and its people,” said Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Compliance, Sam Albanese. “Our employees and staff help make our communities home for many, so it is thrilling to hear that our employees find pride in the meaningful, impactful work we do at Ingleside.”

“We applaud Ingleside for seeking this certification and releasing its employees’ feedback,” said Dr. Jacquelyn Kung, of Great Place to Work’s senior care affiliate Activated Insights. “These ratings measure Ingleside’s capacity to earn its own employees’ trust which creates a great workplace for high performance.”

As part of the certification process, Ingleside demonstrated it can create a positive work environment, many employees praised Ingleside’s commitment to creating a safe place to work, and recognized its welcoming, unique, and caring work environment.
