Chief Bowers Reflects on the Storm (Video)

Within 48 hours of the June 29 store, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue received over 2,000 calls. House fires, wires down and trees into homes are just a sampling of what they experienced. Fire Chief Richard Bowers tells us more in this video clip.

Chief Bowers reminds us to have on hand:

• flashlight
• back up flashlight
• batteries
• generator (if possible)
• water
• light clothing

He also reminds us to practice “neighbors helping neighbors.”
