MCPS Welcomes Students Back Virtually With ‘Robust Plan’ in Place

The 2020-21 MCPS school year kicked off using a virtual-only instructional model on Monday.

“We’re excited to bring forward a robust plan that meets the needs of all of our students. Although virtual, we’re bringing many qualities that we would bring into the traditional school setting for our students,” said MCPS Deputy Superintendent, Dr. Monifa McKnight.

MyMCMedia spoke with Dr. McKnight to get a better idea of how the first semester might look.
