Takoma Park Recreation Center Hosting Free Pop Up COVID-19 Testing Site

The Takoma Park Recreation Center is hosting a free pop up COVID-19 testing site on Thursday, June 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Appointments are required, and those interested must call the DHHS Testing Helpline, 240-777-1755, to sign up. Appointments must be made before 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24.

This location will have saliva testing, which is the cheek swab method.

The City of Takoma Park Government website says that identification cards, insurance cards, doctor’s notes, and payment are not required at this testing site. The site is located at the Takoma Park Recreation Center, 7315 New Hampshire Avenue.
