The Complete Streets Design Guide is an effort to make roadways safer and more accessible for all methods of transportation.
“Complete Streets are roadways that are designed and operated to provide safe, accessible, and healthy travel for all users of our roadway system, including pedestrians, bicyclists, transit riders, and motorists,” the planning department said in an official statement.
Complete Streets must meet various criteria, including safety, sustainability and vitality.
During the meeting, the planning department will give a presentation on the guide and allow residents to provide their comments.
