So you want to start your own business? Good for you! But DON’T go it alone.

SCORE is a 47-year-old nonprofit that provides seasoned and dedicated mentors that advise new and current business owners about management, operations, financial and marketing issues, among others. We’ll meet two very new business owners and their SCORE mentor, and we’ll hear from the Communications Manager from SCORE Headquarters about how SCORE provides on-the-ground, practical help. In addition, we’ll meet and speak with the Director of Montgomery County’s Business Innovation Network about their training programs and facilities, and we’ll tour one of their five business incubators.
