Tiger Woods and the AT&T National Return To Congressional
After a two-year hiatus, the AT&T National Tournament has returned to Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, June 26 through July 1.
Montgomery County departments and agencies have been working on pre-tournament arrangements and logistics with representatives from the PGA TOUR and Tiger Woods Foundation to help spectators get to and from the tournament and to enjoy the overall experience.
Public Parking and Shuttle Bus Options
County officials remind anyone planning to attend the tournament that, if driving, they must use one of the official tournament parking and shuttle lots. There is no general admission parking available in the immediate vicinity of the golf course. Public parking for the tournament is available at:
- Rock Spring Lot, 6720 Rockledge Dr., Bethesda (seven miles from Congressional at I-270 and Democracy Blvd.) This is the best location for those coming from Virginia and other areas south of Congressional CC. Operating: Tuesday thru Friday, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. (limited spaces on these days); Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Single day parking/shuttle pass is $20 per car.
- Montgomery County Fairgrounds, 16 Chestnut St, Gaithersburg (18 miles from Congressional). Operating: Thursday and Friday ONLY from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Single day parking/shuttle passes are $10 per car.
Shuttle buses will transport spectators to and from the parking lots and the golf course during lot hours. Shuttles will depart approximately every 15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

Tournament and County public safety and transportation officials remind spectators that NO public walk-ins are allowed through the main entrance of Congressional Country Club on River Rd. The closest bus stops are noted below. After departing the bus, walk south on Bradley Blvd., then left on Persimmon Tree Road and proceed to Persimmon Tree Lane and the tournament’s main walk-in entrance. Pedestrians are asked to cross at marked crosswalks and stay alert for oncoming traffic.
Public Transportation
- T2 bus from Friendship Heights and Rockville (operated by Metro on weekdays and by Ride On on weekends). Use stops on River Road just west of Bradley Boulevard.
- Ride On bus 36 from Bethesda (no Saturday or Sunday service). Use the stops at the Connelly School on Bradley Boulevard (the route’s terminus). Bus Route T2 from Friendship Heights or Rockville.
- Bus Route 36 from Bethesda (NO FRIDAY OR WEEKEND SERVICE).

Taxi/Limo Drop-Off & Pickup
Tournament and County public safety and transportation officials remind spectators that NO public drop-offs or pickups are allowed in or around main entrance of Congressional Country Club on River Road.
Spectators who wish to be dropped off at Congressional must utilize the designated passenger, taxi or limousine drop-off, located near the Tournament Main Entrance on Persimmon Tree Lane. No parking or standing is allowed, so attendees are asked to coordinate their pickup times accordingly.
The tournament dates for 2012 are June 25 – July 1.

Can I bring my camera?
CAMERAS AND VIDEO RECORDERS ARE NOT PERMITTED DURING THE TOURNAMENT ROUNDS, THURSDAY-SUNDAY. Cameras are only permitted on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Is there any policy on what I can and cannot bring to the tournament?
Yes. The following items are NOT permitted on the golf course:
* Backpacks
* Beepers
* Beverage containers
* Carry items larger than a small purse
* Coolers
* Firearms
* Folding stools without arms or bags are allowed
* Ladders
* Large camera bags
* Packages
* Periscopes
* Picnic baskets
* Radios
* Signs
* Televisions
* Video cameras
ALL ITEMS ARE SUBJECT TO SEARCH. We have set these policies with your safety in mind. If someone will be using your ticket during the tournament, PLEASE ADVISE THEM OF THESE POLICIES.

Does the AT&T National rent or loan golf carts to those that cannot walk?
Unfortunately, the AT&T National does not rent or loan golf carts. There are numerous seating locations located around the course that are open to the public for those that do not wish to walk the course.
