Police Release Surveillance Video of Suspect in Cloverly Gas Station Armed Robbery

Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) detectives released surveillance footage of a Dec. 5 armed robbery of a Sunoco gas station in the Cloverly area. Detectives ask for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in the video.

The surveillance video shows the suspect had his face covered and carried a handgun. He showed the gun to an employee, stole cash from the register and left.

MCPD responded to a report of an armed robbery at 13335 New Hampshire Ave. on Dec. 5 at about 8:40 p.m.

MCPD asks anyone with relevant information to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5100. Anyone who wants to stay anonymous can call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 1-866-411-8477. Crime Solvers will pay up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
