Backpack Journalism In The Morning!

WOW!  Where did the time go?  It seems like yesterday I was in the beginning stages of planning this year’s Summer Backpack Journalism Academy.  In less than twelve hours I will be setting up MCM’s classroom for our newest journalists!  I feel like a kid the night before school starts and I think I may be more excited than our students. A little enthusiasm is always a good thing.  I can’t wait to see what ideas they bring to the table tomorrow when we start to brainstorm story ideas. Teenagers are full of interesting ideas, so I may be learning a little from them too!  Make sure you check in tomorrow to see how the first day went. I am sure that the day will be an eventful one!
