Chevy Chase Water Main Break Causes Major Delays
A water main break and car crash caused major delays on Connecticut Avenue south bound between Jones Bridge and Chevy Chase Lake Drive in Chevy Chase Thursday morning.
Emergency officials say there were no serious injuries, and the crash was likely caused due to icy conditions resulting from the water main break. Some lanes were closed, but have since been re-opened.

UPDATE: All southbound lanes of Connecticut Ave (MD 185) between Jones Bridge Rd & Manor Rd have re-opened. Expect delays to persist through the remainder of the morning commute. #mdtraffic
