Broadway Singer, Tap Dancer Join National Philharmonic for Strathmore Holiday Concert

It’s the most wonderful time of year for lots of things including holiday music. The Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda is hosting “Holiday Singin’ Pops” Friday night. The show features a Broadway star who just finished playing the lead in Phantom of the Opera, a performer from the Second City troupe, a Washington-based vocalist who has performed all over the world and an eight-year-old tap dancer who will knock your socks off.

MyMCMedia got a sneak peak of what to expect at tonight’s performance.

The Montgomery Blair High School a cappella singing group InToneNation will perform before the main show in the orchestra lobby at 6:45 pm.

Strathmore will host another holiday-themed show December 21 and 22 with the largest Messiah concert in the DC area this year. Over 200 singers and musicians will perform.
