Police Seek Help Identifying 6th Person in Silver Spring Robbery

Montgomery County police ask the public to help identify a female sought in connection with an Oct. 2 robbery that occurred inside the Ellsworth Place Mall in downtown Silver Spring.

Two girls, 16 and 17, were robbed in a mall bathroom about 3:20 p.m., and police released surveillance video from the incident on Oct. 10, police said. Tips led to the arrests of five Northeast Washington juveniles.

Detectives from the Silver Spring police district Investigative Section are seeking a sixth female.

Anyone with information regarding the unidentified female is asked to call the Silver Spring Investigative Section at 240-773-6870. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest.
