Montgomery County Police arrested a man who allegedly robbed a SunTrust bank in Rockville last week.

Police say Jason Kenneth Rollins, 34, of Montgomery Village was arrested on October 16 for robbing the bank on the 100 black of Gibbs Street in Rockville. Rollins entered the bank at 2:28 p.m. and approached the teller with a note demanding money and stating that he was armed. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene.

Rollins was leaving his apartment when he was arrested that evening. Police say he was wearing the same clothing that he had worn while committing the robbery. He was charged with armed robbery and is being held without bond. He is due to appear in Montgomery County District Court on November 15.
