Bringing NBA Trophy Home a ‘Dream Come True’ for Former Gaithersburg High’s Miller

Less than 10 years ago, Malcolm Miller was playing basketball at Gaithersburg High School. He had high aspirations for himself but winning the NBA championship last year as a member of the Toronto Raptor exceeded even his dreams. Miller got to spend one day with the Lawrence O’Brien Trophy, given each year to the NBA Champions, and he decided to bring it back to his high school to share with friends, family, fans, teammates and coaches.
