UPDATE: I-270 Reopens in Both Directions Near Clarksburg Weigh Station

Update: The northbound and southbound sections of I-270 have reopened.

Both the northbound and southbound sections of I-270 are completely blocked off due to fallen wires near the weigh station in Clarksburg, according to Fire & Rescue Services spokesman Pete Piringer.

The wires are down between Exit 18 in Clarksburg and Exit 22 in Hyattstown. Piringer said that on the northbound side, the wires had fallen on top of an occupied tractor-trailer.
