Dave & Buster’s Gets the Party Started in RIO

The RIO in Gaithersburg officially welcomed Dave & Buster’s on Monday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark its grand opening.

Dave & Buster’s moved into a 35,000-square-foot space that once housed Sport & Health.

The general manager for Dave & Buster’s RIO, Andy Smith, said that — being from Maryland — he’s “excited to share the Dave & Buster’s fun and excitement with the community.”

The establishment includes an arcade and a full-service restaurant. It’s expected to bring 200 new jobs to the area.

This is the fifth Dave & Buster’s open in the State of Maryland, according to the Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce.
