Montgomery County police are asking the public for help in finding Cristal Tavara Samaniego, 14, of Wheaton.

The teenager was last seen by family on Wednesday, April 24, when she left her Georgian Way home on foot. Police said she is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair.

Police and family are concerned for Samaniego’s welfare.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Cristal Tavara Samaniego is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).
