WMATA Says Trains Are Single Tracking Between Fort Totten and Takoma
WMATA has partially suspended service between Fort Totten and Takoma Metro Station.
The Washington Post is reporting that it’s been suspended since after 11:30 a.m. because of a fire outside of Ft. Totten. However, The Post says that the cause of the fire isn’t clear.
According to The Post, “The transit agency sent shuttle buses to ferry passengers between the two stations.”
The alert says, “Trains are single tracking btwn Ft. Totten and Takoma due to a track problem outside Ft. Totten. Expect delays in both directions.”
