A theft from vehicle occurred in the 8600 block of Sundale Drive at about 11:42 p.m. on Jan. 16. No force; cash was taken. Victim/witness described one culprit as in his early 20s.

Affected streets included East West Highway; Woodmont, Wisconsin, West Virginia and Auburn avenues; Waverly and Leland streets; and Arlington and Sleaford roads. An armed robbery occurred in the 5400 block of Randolph Road at about 6:35 p.m. Jan. 19. The culprit displayed a weapon and took a man’s cash. Victim/witness described perpetrator as a man, age unknown.

Bethesda District

A strong-arm robbery occurred in the area of East West Highway and Rosemary Hills Drive in the early morning hours of Jan. 16. Two perpetrators assaulted a man and took his cash and property. One person was arrested: Lacy James Rivers, 35; of Washington, D.C. Victim/witness described second suspect as a man, age unknown

An armed robbery occurred in the area of Connecticut Avenue and Baltimore Street about 7:15 p.m. on Jan. 18. The suspect assaulted the juvenile male victim and took his cash. Victim/witness described culprit as a man, age unknown

Four men, ages unknown, robbed a T-Mobile store at 8668 Colesville Road about 3:30 p.m. Jan. 17. One man assaulted an employee. The culprits took merchandise.

A residential burglary occurred in the 10300 block of Inwood Avenue at about 3:30 p.m. Jan. 16. No signs of forced entry; property was taken. Victim/witness described suspects as a man, age unknown.

Three men committed an armed robbery at the 1500 block of Forest Glen Road about 10 p.m. Jan. 18. One culprit assaulted a man, and another culprit displayed a weapon. The three men tried to take his cash. One man — Thomas Carter, 20, of Washington, D.C. — was arrested. Online court records say he is being held without bail at Montgomery County Detention Center.

A residential burglary occurred in the 700 block of Dennis Avenue between about 6:15 a.m. and about 5:31 p.m. on Jan. 16. Forced entry; property was taken. No culprit descriptions available.

A vehicle theft occurred in the 1700 block of Hampshire Green Lane between about 9:20 a.m. and about 7:40 p.m. Jan. 17. No force; the vehicle was reported to have been left unlocked with the keys in the ignition. No culprit descriptions available.

Two men robbed the 7-Eleven, 11303 Lockwood Drive, in the early morning hours of Jan. 15. One man displayed a weapon. The two culprits stole property. Athanasios Waldron, 36; of Silver Spring was arrested. The victim/witness described second suspect as a man, age unknown.

A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 11400 block of Lockwood Drive about 6:45 p.m. Jan. 17. The culprits assaulted a man and took his cash and property. Four were arrested: Alassan Brown, 19; and two boys and a girl, all 16. Police did not name the teenagers who were from Silver Spring. The victim/witness described two other males. Online court records say Brown is being held on $30,000 bail.

A commercial burglary and six vehicle thefts occurred at Zokor Automotive at 3311 Briggs Chaney Road between about 9 a.m. Jan. 13 and about 5 p.m. Jan. 14. No signs of forced entry, a door was reported to have been left unlocked; vehicle keys were taken and used to steal the vehicles. All the vehicles were recovered on Jan. 14. Arrested was Derrick Counts, 30; of Washington, D.C. Counts is being held on $10,000 bail, according to online court records.
