NWS Issues Flood Warning for Portions of Montgomery County
The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning until 3 p.m. for portions of Montgomery County.
According to the warning, runoff from Monday morning’s heavy rain may cause flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses, and low lying areas. The locations that may experience flooding include Rockville, Bethesda, and Olney.
Remember, turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
