Woman Assaulted on Shady Grove Road, Police Say
Montgomery County police say a woman was sexually assaulted Thursday on Shady Grove Road near Key West Avenue and Blackwell Road in Rockville.
The woman was walking on the sidewalk when a man approached her from behind. He pushed her into a grassy area along the road and began to sexually assault her, police said.
The victim began to yell for help and a passer-by, hearing the victim, ran to her aid and the man fled, police said.
The preliminary description of the man is he has a thin build and was wearing dark clothing, police said.
