Importance of Facil Information

A program episode’s description by any name, still as searchable? NO!

Why does the Training and Volunteer department at MCM care about the information our producers provide for each episode? This information is entered into the Facil system and then uploaded to our new wordpress website. As MCM gears up to launch the new website, it becomes clear why the information the program producers supply is so important. The new website supplies a search capability that will give our community improved access. This feature will give us the ability to type in a piece of information, possibly a producer’s name, a guest’s name, etc. The search will return all posts that contain that piece of infomation. So… good information in, guarantees good search capability on the website. (Bad information in, you know the rest of the story.)

Please, take a bit of extra time to provide complete program descriptions for each of your episodes. That nnn??? characters can really make your programming more accessible to our website community!
