Three of the 10 Best Places to Live for Families in Maryland are in Montgomery County

WalletHub released a study that ranked three Montgomery County places in the top 10 best places for families to live in Maryland. The finance website placed North Potomac, Clarksburg, and Bethesda in its top ten “2018’s Best Places to Live in Maryland for Families” list.

According to the 2018 findings, Columbia in Howard County is the best place for families to live in Maryland.

WalletHub compared 128 places in Maryland across four dimensions, including family life and fun; education, health and safety; affordability; and socio-economics. A total of 21 metrics were evaluated within the four dimensions. Each of the 21 metrics was graded on a 100-point scale. A weighted average — each dimension was assigned 25 total points — across all metrics was determined to calculate each city’s total score and resulting rank.
